Saturday, September 3rd - 5th, 2011 - 10:30 am Newark Earthworks 455 Hebron Rd. Heath, OH 43056 740-763-2184
This powwow takes place annually on Labor Day weekend on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. This year it will be held at Newark Earthworks (The Great Circle) off of State Route 79 in Heath, Ohio. In the past it has been held at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio. Grand entry is at 1 pm but powwow grounds open at 10:30 am and there are always lots of interesting vendors with one of a kind items to see. It's like visiting an art museum in many instances. There is dancing, drumming, singing and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Everyone is welcome. And my dear friends, if you've never tried fry bread or an Indian Taco, brace youself, 'cause we're gonna tickle your belly with some good eating! Please spread the word and help us make this our biggest powwow ever! Thank you in advance for your support. We really appreciate our friends, new and old.
